Building Permit Process

The Building Permit Process gives a sequential overview of the Town's building permit and inspection process.

All Town building permits use the same basic permit form. Additional submittal requirements may apply depending on the nature of your project, as detailed below.

Submittal Requirements

If the proposed project involves new construction, demolition, or adds 500+ s.f. to any floor of a building, the Town

must hold a site-management meeting prior to permit issuance. The Town will not approve a building permit application until a County Permit is issued.
