Town Requests Denial of Noise Waiver Application for Apex Building Demolition

The Town has submitted a letter to the Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection requesting denial of the noise waiver application for demolition of the Apex building at 7272 Wisconsin Avenue.  The Town’s letter requests that additional noise mitigation measures be implemented to accommodate Town residents who live in close proximity to the Apex building.


In June, Carr Properties submitted the noise waiver application, which requests that demolition activities be allowed to exceed allowable noise limits during weekday and weekend nighttime hours from August 1 through October 31, 2017.
