On Tuesday, June 7th at 7:00 p.m., Margot van Duijnhoven, a Town resident and junior at Maret School, will be giving a 30-minute Q&A presentation about her experience with The Traveling School (TTS) in the American West, including place-based learning, and the benefits of living and learning while away from home. This past spring, Margot participated in a semester program with TTS, where she traveled from the Mexican border in Arizona to Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, and Montana while learning a full high school semester's curriculum.  All residents are welcome (especially high school girls and their parents) to join either in person at the Town Hall or via Zoom, to learn about this amazing program and Margot’s unique experience. The event is hybrid to ensure Margot will receive credit from her school. As well, this event is supported by the Community Relations Committee.
