Last Call for Donations

Last call for donations to our Town’s 15th Annual Thanksgiving Dinner effort. The generosity of our neighbors this month has been incredible. We are very close to being able to purchase $100 grocery cards for all 100 families.

These families, whose children attend nearby MCPS schools, receive extra support through Linkages to Learning, a county program that contracts with the YMCA to help provide food, housing, health insurance, after-care, summer camps and much more.

Our annual effort in October is a small, but meaningful, part of Linkages to Learning work in several neighboring Silver Spring public schools. Your gift will ensure that these families can shop for a bountiful holiday dinner and have extra groceries over Thanksgiving school break.

Georgia Guhin’s mail slot at 4006 Rosemary Street, Chevy Chase, MD 20815 is open 24/7 for mail and contactless drop-off. Donations are gratefully appreciated. Please make checks payable to YMCA-YFS. If you prefer, you can drop off a check to the Town Office or send an email to the Town Office at townoffice@townofchevychase.org to arrange for someone to stop by to pick up your donation.
