Gas-Powered Leaf Blowers Prohibited in Town

Gas-powered leaf blowers (GPLBs) are now prohibited year-round in the Town of Chevy Chase. Town residents can report violations of the ban on GPLBs to the Town office via email (townoffice@townofchevychase.org) or phone (301-654-7144).

Leaf Blower Regulations for Landscaping

The April issue of the Forecast newsletter includes an insert that is intended for residents’ information, and it can be handed out to landscapers who violate the year round ban on gas-powered leaf blowers or who are not aware of the ban. Extra copies are available in the Town office.
