Police Presence at Former 4-H Property Tonight
The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) has notified the Town that it will establish a police presence in the parking lot of the former 4-H property (7100 Connecticut Avenue) from approximately 7 p.m. tonight until 3 a.m. tomorrow morning. The officers will be on standby at this location to respond quickly to any unrest that may occur in the County or in D.C. due to the election. Please note that this is a precautionary measure, and there are no known threats. Police may be positioned at this same location in subsequent days and weeks depending on need.
