Town Office Closed
The Town office is closed today, but staff will monitor voicemail and email remotely.

Trash and Organic Waste Collection
Household trash will not be collected today but will be collected on Thursday, January 9 for homes on the Monday/Thursday collection route. The Compost Crew has informed the Town that household organic waste collection will shift one day to Wednesday, January 8.

Sidewalk Snow Removal
The Town’s contractor will clear and treat Town sidewalks. This effort will begin this morning and involves hand shoveling and using a mixture of calcium chloride and sand to treat icy conditions and provide traction. It may take the contractor some time to clear and treat all sidewalks, so we ask for your patience. We also ask for your assistance in clearing sidewalks if you are able and if precipitation later today covers areas already cleared by the crews. Clearing snow from private walkways and driveways is always the responsibility of the homeowner. 

Street Snow/Ice Removal
The Town’s maintenance crew and contractor have been plowing and treating Town streets since last evening. Plows will operate continuously until the streets are clear.
