17th Annual Town Thanksgiving Dinner Donations
A giant thanks to all who have already contributed to the Town’s Thanksgiving Dinner effort. We are now able to purchase $100 Giant and Aldi cards for 80 MCPS families experiencing the challenges of food insecurity this Thanksgiving. Our hope is to provide food cards to at least 100 MCPS families supported by the YMCA’s Youth and Family Services Program. Here is how you can help.

Use the Venmo QR Code or ID (@TOCCFriends) or drop off/mail a check payable to YMCA-YFS or gift cards from Giant or Aldi to the Town Office or Bridget Hartman’s mail slot (7214 Ridgewood Avenue) during the month of October. 100% of your donation of any amount will help families in nearby MCPS schools shop for groceries this Thanksgiving. Without access to school breakfast and lunch programs, the Thanksgiving break creates an additional strain on family food budgets. Our Giant and Aldi cards also help fill this gap. Thank you!
