Town Will Clear Sidewalks 
Following This Weekend's Storm

The Town’s contractor will remove snow from Town sidewalks following this weekend's storm. The contractor will begin clearance operations after precipitation has ended, which will likely be on Monday morning.  

With 20 miles of sidewalk to cover and limited crew availability, it usually takes at least a full day to complete this task. Crews do not work overnight. If snow has already been compacted into ice, they may only be able to apply ice melt, leaving the sidewalk potentially unsafe.

Although the Town's sidewalk snow removal program will be activated, we encourage you, if willing and able, to shovel early. Your early efforts can mean safer conditions sooner. Thank you for your assistance.
