Winter Storm Update #8

Sidewalk Snow Removal
The Town's contractor had 8 crews in Town today clearing sidewalks with power equipment. The crews will be back in full force tomorrow to continue the clearing process. This effort takes time, so we ask for your patience. 

Recycling Collection
Due to a staff shortage, the Town's contractor collected recycling only from the west side of Town today (west of Maple Avenue).  Tomorrow, the contractor will collect from the east side of Town (including Maple Avenue, Maple Terrace, and the 4300 block of Rosemary Street) and from East-West Highway and Bradley Lane (east of Maple Avenue) tomorrow.

Organic Waste Collection
The contractor's vehicle broke down while collecting organic waste today, and the crews were unable to service 133 homes.  The contractor will return tomorrow to collect from these residences.
