The Climate and Environment Committee will be hosting a series of "Green Socials" over the next year. These events will provide an opportunity to learn more about issues with environmental implications, as well as to meet neighbors and discuss topics of interest
The first in the series will be a "Power Talk" in early January. The committee will invite one or more experts to explain competitive energy source options and help with questions you may have about your energy bill and energy choices (like renewable power plans). There will be an opportunity to share experiences and discuss suggestions you may have about these topics.
More details will follow, but to help identify a date and time that is convenient for most residents, please contact committee co-chair John Kolakowski at jlk036@yahoo.com [mailto:jlk036@yahoo.com%20] with your contact information and if you are able to attend option A, option B, or either one:
Option A: "power breakfast" with coffee and bagels from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 on a Saturday morning.
Option B: "power dessert" with cider and cookies from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on a Wednesday night.
This does not commit you to attending, but simply helps identify a preferred time. If you wish, you can also include other suggestions or specific questions you would like addressed.
