Seventy-five!  That’s the number of MCPS families the Town, B-CC High School, Chevy Chase Elementary School and the Lawton Center will be helping this year with Thanksgiving Dinner Baskets.  We need your help in filling these baskets with a wonderful holiday meal for families with very limited resources who are served by the county’s Linkages to Learning program.

Through November 20, drop off a check payable to the YMCA - YFS or gift food cards from Giant or Safeway to the Town Office, M-F from 8:30 am to 5 pm or to Georgia Guhin, 4006 Rosemary Street.  $25 purchases a turkey.  $50 purchases the groceries.  $75 purchases an entire Thanksgiving dinner.  All donations, which are tax- deductible, are welcome.  Questions?  Contact Community Relations Co-Chair Bridget Hartman (301.654.4938 or bridget@hartmanjr.net).
