Farm Women's Market Development Plans Available Online
On October 3, representatives from EYA, partners with the land owner Bernstein Management Corporation, outlined the current status of the Farm Women's Market development plans. State Delegate Al Carr and County Council Member Hans Reimer attended the presentation. In addition, representatives of the following elected officials attended the presentation: Congressman Jamie Raskin, State Delegate Jared Solomon, County Executive Marc Elrich, County Council Member Andrew Friedson, and County Council Member Will Jawando.
Redevelopment of this site adjacent to the Town will not only result in a new commercial building on the property that now houses Villain and Saint, but also will incorporate the adjacent Farm Women’s Market and two Montgomery County parking lots (10 and 24) and result in new park space. If you were unable to make it, the presentation is available here on the Town website.
