Town of Chevy Chase Networking Event
Tuesday, February 18, 6:30 p.m., Town Hall
Our community is extremely fortunate to have residents with a wide range of skills, experience, and connections. If you need someone to make a business connection for you in Asia, we have a neighbor who could help. Looking for a medical internship at NIH? Need help with federal government issues? Want a meeting with an industry trade association executive? Looking for advice on how to pitch a product on TV? Whatever you are searching for, chances are good that one of your neighbors could help you out.
The problem of course, is finding out exactly who to contact about a given issue. Your next door neighbor might know the answer to a challenge you have been struggling with, but you might never know. Often you can find help with these questions on the Town Neighbors list serve, but sometimes it might help to have an in person conversation. Town resident Mike Stein was thinking about this, and came up with the idea of starting an informal neighborhood networking event -- a way for neighbors to learn more about each other in person to discover potential opportunities.
We are going to explore this concept at an informal meeting at the Town Hall at 6:30 PM on Tuesday Feb 18th.This event, which will be limited to Town residents. If there is interest, this could be the first in a series of Town network events. Refreshments will be served.
Please reply to Mike at mstein@steinip.com by Sunday, February 16, 2020 so we can get some idea as to how many people will be attending. If you can't come to the meeting, but you would like to be included in future network activities, please let Mike know.
