Wildlife Safety Tips: Coyotes, Foxes, and Raccoons

The Town has recently received reports of foxes, coyotes, and raccoons in the neighborhood.  The coyotes were seen on Maple Avenue and the fox was seen on the 4200 block of Leland Street.  Below are some tips and reminders:

1. Watch your pets. Keep cats indoors, and never leave small dogs outside unsupervised or let any dog out of your yard off leash.

2. Secure food sources. Store garbage and compost in wildlife-proof containers and feed pets indoors.
