Hurray!  The Town of Chevy Chase Book Club is meeting IN PERSON on Monday, November 1 at 7 p.m. in the Town Hall to discuss The Secret Lives of Church Ladies by Deesha Philyaw.  These prize-winning short stories explore the secrets of nine black women navigating the mess of real life within the strictures of the church.  Funny but poignant.  Wine and snacks will facilitate the discussion.  COVID protocols observed.  Save the date for the Town of Chevy Chase Book Club’s next meeting on Monday, December 6 at 7 p.m.  We will be reading A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles.
