Discussion & Desserts: The Iran Nuclear Agreement: What It Is and What Comes Next?
-- Monday, October 5, 7:30 p.m., Town Hall, Joel Rubin, a Town resident, former Obama administration senior State Department official, and leader of some of the key organizations backing the Iran nuclear deal, will explore how both the Obama administration and Congress will navigate dynamics, at home and abroad, to ensure that the deal succeeds.

The U.S. and our international negotiating partners recently concluded an agreement with Iran to block Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon. This deal, if implemented successfully, will enhance both our country’s security and our global standing while opening up a new chapter in our relations with one of our longest standing adversaries. Yet it also will create new tensions with some of our closest allies, including Israel and the Gulf states.

Sponsored by the Town’s Community Relations Committee, please RSVP at 301-654-7144 or townoffice@townofchevychase.org.

Flu Clinic -- Thursday, October 8, 4 - 7 p.m., Town Hall, the Medstar Visiting Nurses will administer flu shots at the Flu Clinic. Please call the Town Office at 301-654-7144 to sign up for the program. You must sign up to receive a flu shot or pneumonia vaccine.
