Brighten the Holidays for Domestic Violence Victims and Their Children

Special thanks to Town residents who have, to date, generously donated to the Holiday Gift Drive to help victims of domestic abuse and their children celebrate the holidays this year.  The deadline for donations is this Friday, Dec. 18.

We are still gladly accepting donations for this drive of gift cards of $25 or less to such stores as Target, Marshalls, Kohl's, Ross, Sears or Giant.  Note that many stores you visit often sell these cards.   Bring the cards to the Town Office (9-5), or mail them to the Town of Chevy Chase, 4301 Willow Lane, Chevy Chase, MD 20815. To make it is easier for you to donate, Cathy Wolf, chief organizer, will be happy to pick up gift cards from your home.  Contact her at wolfcs@starpower.net   Important: Be sure to include your name and e-mail address so you can receive a donation receipt.

This very worthy cause not only brightens the spirits of those who receive, but also of those who donate.
