The Montgomery County Historic Preservation Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at 7:30 p.m. regarding the proposed relocation of the Community Hardware Store (“Wilson Store”), which is currently located at 7250 Wisconsin Avenue and has historic preservation status.  The developers of the Apex Building at 7272 Wisconsin Avenue propose to move the historic building to a site off of Middleton Lane.

Interested residents are encouraged to attend the hearing and testify before the Commission.  The hearing will be held at 8787 Georgia Avenue, in Silver Spring (in the MRO auditorium, where the Planning Board meets).  If you cannot attend the hearing, you may submit comments to the Historic Preservation Commission by email to scott.whipple@montgomeryplanning.org.
