Utility Work Update
-- The paving around Rosemary Circle has been completed and the circle is reopened to traffic.

Next week, WSSC will begin connecting houses on Beechwood Drive to the new water main, beginning at Thornapple Street.  A water shutdown is scheduled for Wednesday that will impact residents near Hillcrest Place and Sycamore Street.  Affected residents will be notified in advance of the shutdown.  The new main on Meadow Lane is being pressure tested, so no work is scheduled to be done on Meadow Lane next week.  WSSC is testing the water in the temporary main on Maple Avenue.  Once the temporary main is certified, the contractor will begin connecting houses on Maple Avenue to the temporary water main.  This is likely to begin next week.

Next week, Washington Gas will install new gas mains in the 4300 block of Willow Lane and on 45th Street. The contractor is likely to begin saw cutting on 46th Street in anticipation of work on that street. Washington Gas will also continue to make new house connections on streets where new gas mains have been installed.  Trench paving work is scheduled to be done on West Avenue and on Thornapple Street.

Thank you for your continued patience during the ongoing utility work. Please contact the Town Office at townoffice@townofchevychase.org or 301-654-7144 if you have any questions.
