Utility/Concrete Work Update -- Next week, Washington Gas subcontractors will continue work on Underwood and Thornapple Streets.  Underwood Street will be closed to through traffic.

WSSC will be installing the new water main on Maple Avenue coming north from Thornapple Street.  This block of Maple will be closed to through traffic.

WSSC is planning to continue saw cutting on Beechwood Drive early next week in anticipation of paving the utility trench resulting from the water main replacement.  This paving work is likely to begin on Wednesday or Thursday of next week.

The Town plans to resurface Ridgewood Avenue between Stanford Street and Thornapple Street on Monday, weather permitting.  This block of Rosemary Street will be closed to through traffic during the work.

The Town will be making concrete repairs on Oak Lane.  The contractor will also be making some spot repairs around the Town.  Concrete work may begin on Meadow Lane south of Thornapple Street and on Hillcrest Place between Sycamore Street and Beechwood Drive.  The contractor will work to maintain a travel lane; however, temporary closures may be necessary.  No Parking signs will be posted in advance of the work.

Thank you for your continued patience during the ongoing utility work. The Town will provide frequent updates on the utility work via the Town Crier.  Please contact the Town Office at townoffice@townofchevychase.org or 301-654-7144 if you have any questions.
