Utility/Concrete Work Update – 

Gas main installation on Underwood Street was completed today.  Washington Gas will begin scheduling house connections soon.  The contractor continues to work on Thornapple Street east of Meadow Lane.  Beginning tomorrow, the contractor will begin installing a short new gas main on Thornapple Street to help facilitate the system upgrade in that block. 

WSSC continues to install the new water main on Maple Avenue coming north from Thornapple Street.  This block of Maple will be closed to through traffic.

WSSC paving work is scheduled to begin on Beechwood Drive tomorrow.  The crews will be working south from Thornapple Street.  During this work the road will be closed to through traffic.

The Town will be making concrete repairs on Hillcrest Place between Sycamore Street and Beechwood Drive and in a few other locations around the Town. The contractor will work to maintain a travel lane; however, temporary closures may be necessary.  No Parking signs have been posted in advance of the work.
