Utility Work Update

Next week, the Town will be making concrete repairs on Lynn Drive at Oakridge Lane and on Sycamore Alley.  Toward the end of next week, WSSC will begin making new house connections in the 4400 block of Stanford Street.  

WSSC sewer repairs are expected to begin soon.  The Town will notify impacted residents in advance of this work.

Meet the Town Council Candidates on April 21 at the Lawton Center

The Town will sponsor a hospitality table for residents to meet candidates for the Town Council on Saturday, April 21 from 10 a.m. to noon in front of the Lawton Center during the Town’s Trash & Treasures event.  Coffee and bagels will be served.  We hope to see you there!



Candidates' Forum -- April 25, 7 p.m., Town Hall

The Town's Election Board will host a “Candidates’ Forum” on Wednesday, April 25 at 7 p.m. in the Town Hall.  Charles Duffy, former host of the Montgomery Municipal Cable TV show “Political Pulse,” has agreed to serve as moderator for the tenth year.  

As in the past, questions at the forum will be posed by the moderator based on questions submitted by residents prior to the forum.  There will be no questions from the audience at the forum.  If you have a question you would like posed to the candidates, please email it to the Town Office at townoffice@townofchevychase.org by Tuesday, April 24.  



Westbound Lane Closure on East-West Highway

The westbound right lane of East-West Highway will be closed on Wednesday, April 25 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. due to electrical work associated with the Purple Line project.  



Town Teens List Update
 
The Town is completely refreshing it's Town Teens list! The Town Teens list is a great resource connecting Town teens seeking jobs and Town residents seeking individuals to provide a variety of services.  Any Town teen that would like to be included on the new list should fill out a sign-up form and return it to the Town Office, or email the completed form to townoffice@townofchevychase.org
