Utility Work Update

Next week, WSSC’s sewer contractor will continue a sewer main replacement project on Leland Street between Curtis Road and East Avenue.  

WSSC will continue working in the 4300 block of Thornapple Street to bore a new water main under the Thornapple Path.

The Town’s concrete contractor is scheduled to begin making repairs to damaged sidewalks, curbs, and driveway aprons.  Impacted residents will be notified in advance of any work.

Chevy Chase Green Town Fair 
Saturday, September 22, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

The inaugural Green Town Fair will be held on Saturday, September 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Jane Lawton Community Center.  Highlights include exhibitors, speakers, a giveaway, plant exchange, music, food and a community forum on the Dennison Sustainable Garden Project at 1 p.m. Rain or Shine. Click here for more information.
