Elm Street Park Invasive Plant Removal from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Elm Street Park needs our help this Saturday, November 17 from 9 am to 11 am.  The Community Relations Committee is looking for 10 residents to help rid the Park’s planting beds of invasive plants.  Our mission is to improve and beautify the park.  Montgomery County Public School students over the age of 14 are eligible for community service hours from Montgomery County Parks Department, which will provide the gardening tools.  We will offer a breakfast of bagels and coffee.

Lawton Center Thanksgiving Food Box Decorating from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

As part of the Town’s 10th Annual Thanksgiving Dinner Baskets effort, we will have 100 box lids waiting to be decorated at the Lawton Center this Saturday, November 17 from 10 am to 12 noon.  The Community Relations Committee invites neighbors of all ages to join in this fun annual holiday activity.  We will bring the paint, brushes and decorations.  You bring your creative imagination.  Be prepared to enjoy seasonal treats.
