Please Help Brighten the Holidays for Families of Abuse
The Town’s Holiday Gift Drive once again asks for your generosity for needy County victims of domestic violence and their children. You have two donation options: 1) gift cards in denominations from $10 to $50 for stores such as Target, Marshalls, Kohl's, Ross, or Giant or 2) checks made out to the Montgomery County Family Justice Center. Drop off your donation or mail it to the Town Office, or put it through Ann Wild's mail slot at 7104 Oakridge Avenue. (To receive an acknowledgment for tax purposes, BE SURE to include your name and e-mail address on the envelope.) Gift cards and checks for the Holiday Gift Drive will be collected through Monday, December 17. If you prefer to “adopt” a family and shop for specific items for them, contact Cathy Wolf at email@example.com. Thanks in advance for your generosity! The drive is coordinated by the Community Relations Committee.

Purple Line Construction Update
Due to varying rock conditions, blasting will occur in the Bethesda Shaft December 3 through December 7, between the hours of 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. Prior to each blast, a siren will be used as a safety precaution for workers within the work zone.
The project will be working on Saturdays in December at the Bethesda Work Zone on Elm Street, continuing excavation efforts between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
