Town's Long Range Planning Committee
to Discuss Farm Women's Market Development

The Town’s Long-Range Planning Committee will meet on Tuesday, December 11 in the Town Hall at 7 p.m. to review the latest information on the proposed Farm Women’s Market development.

At this time, there is one sketch plan being submitted to the Planning Board that proposes:
  • townhouses on Lot 10 with a greenway between the Town and the townhouses;
  • a new building on Lot 24 behind the Ford Building;
  • a new pavilion behind the Farm Women’s Market also on Lot 24;
  • a new park on the remainder of the land on Lot 24;
  • redevelopment of the Farm Women’s Market; and
  • a new high-rise building on the south side of the Farm Women’s Market.
Another proposal is being submitted at the same time that would only include the building on the south side of the Farm Women’s Market, leaving both parking lots as parking lots.
