No Street Repaving Scheduled for Next Week

There will not be any street paving work next week.  The paving work will resume June 3.

    Memorial Day

The Town Office will be closed.  Household trash will not be collected on Memorial Day, May 27, but will be collected on your next regularly scheduled trash day.  Yard trash will be collected on Tuesday, May 28.

 Rockville Concert Band
Sunday, June 9, 5:30 p.m. Lawton Center Outdoor Concert

Come hear the Rockville Concert Band play a good old-fashioned Sunday night outdoor concert.  The band will play a variety of marches, movie music and more -- even the 1812 Overture!  Come out for the music, but bring a few dollars to grab something delicious to eat at the Holy Crepes and Tasty Grill to Go food trucks.  Chairs will be available, but feel free to bring a blanket to sit on if you wish.  The playground is right there on the grounds of the Lawton Center for your children to play on while listening to the band.  Plenty of parking is available too.

Please Clean Up After Your Pet

The Town office has received numerous complaints about dog waste being left on the grounds of Chevy Chase Elementary School and on other public areas in Town. The Town has installed numerous dog waste stations in Town, including three around the elementary school.  Leaving dog waste on school grounds is unlawful and poses a health hazard to children and others who use the school’s outdoor recreational facilities. We appreciate your cooperation in addressing this issue.
