This Weekend: September 21 & 22
Trash and Treasures will be held this weekend. The Alternatives to Trash and Treasures event will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parking lot of the Lawton Center. More information about this event can be found here.
As a reminder, residents can now drop off glass into several green recycling bins, marked “Glass Bottles and Jars Only,” in the loading area behind the Lawton Center. The loading area is accessible from 44th Street near the intersection of Elm Street. Residents are reminded that only clean glass bottles and jars may be placed in these carts. The following items are not acceptable: jar lids, sheet glass, glass windows, mirrors, Pyrex, light bulbs, crystal, glass dishes, and ceramics.
The bulk trash pick up starts on Monday, September 23.
