The Compost Crew's "Compost Back Program" Sign Up
Ends March 27

As an update to all our existing customers, we have extended our deadline for 'compost back' requests to March 27.  If you have not already done so, please request your compost by filling out the form at the link below no later than March 27.  If you have already submitted your response, please do not resubmit your request.  We will start scheduling delivery dates the week of April 6, so be on the lookout for further communication from us with details on dates and times.  Stay tuned, as we are continuing to monitor the evolving situation with COVID-19 and should anything change, we will be sure to update you respectively.

Compost Request Form

This spring we are offering two options:

1.  Receive one bag of Leafgro (1.5 cubic feet) delivered to your home, similar to the past two seasons.  Deliveries will start in late-March and continue through early April.

2.  Pick up triple the amount of
Leafgro Gold (4.5 cubic feet) from One Acre Farm, located at 18608 Wasche Rd, Dickerson, MD 20842 on either (i) Saturday, April 4 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. or (ii) Saturday, April 18 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.  With this option, not only do you receive more compost, but you also receive back compost that was produced with your food scraps!  Bring your own container for this unbagged compost.

More details are included in the Compost Request Form.

If you are looking for help with your garden or lawn, including how to incorporate compost, check out The University of Maryland Extension.  Most recently I have been exploring their resources to learn more about which native plants are best at our new house in Rockville.

Stay healthy, and enjoy your spring!
