Reminder: No Household Organic Waste Collection on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3
Household organic waste will not be collected on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3. The make-up collection day will be Thursday, November 5. Please make sure to put out your bin on Wednesday evening for collection on Thursday
To receive automatic updates and more information from The Compost Crew, residents can register through the customer portal [https://customers.compostcrew.com/create-account/] . On the portal, you can opt to receive email alerts, reminding you when to put out your bin and notifying you when your food scraps have been collected. You also can suspend your service when you’re away or upgrade to a larger bin.
The Town of Chevy Chase provides compost collection as a free service to Town residents. Residents who receive this service do not need to add payment information in the customer portal.
