Leaf Vacuuming Has Ended -- Please place leaves in reusable containers or paper yard waste bags and place them at the curb by 7 a.m. for Monday pickup.

Town Office Closures
  • Tuesday, December 31-- Town Office closed at noon.
  • Wednesday, January 1-- Town Office closed.  Recycling will be collected the following day, Thursday, January 2.

Christmas Tree Collection-- The Town offers curbside collection of Christmas trees. All wire, ornaments and tinsel must be removed. The deadline for pickup is January 14.

Movie Night For Families--  Friday, January 3, 6 p.m., Town Hall.  We will be showing the movie Happy Feet.  Pizza and snacks will be provided. Parents must accompany children.  RSVP to the Town Office at 301-654-7144 or townoffice@townofchevychase.org.

Power Breakfast "Green Social"-- Saturday, January 4, 10 a.m., Town Hall. RSVP by contacting John Kolakowski at jlk036@yahoo.com.  More information is available here.

Grown-Ups Go to the Movies--  Friday, January 10, 7:30 p.m., Town Hall. We will be showing the movie Red Obsession.  Enjoy a sampling of Bordeaux wines and French cheeses. RSVP to the Town Office at 301-654-7144 or townoffice@townofchevychase.org.

Community Relations Committee Coat Drive-- Bring gently used coats, mittens, gloves and scarves to the Town Office during office hours, Monday – Friday, 8:30 – 5 p.m. The coats will be donated to Interfaith Works.

Winter Weather Preparations-- The Town has taken a number of steps to prepare for the winter season. This document provides an overview of the Town's winter preparedness plans.
