Town Logo
In order to replace the water service at Chevy Chase Elementary School, WSSC is planning a shutdown of the water main on Rosemary Street from Connecticut Avenue to Rosemary Circle on Tuesday, August 9 starting at 3:30 p.m., lasting until approximately 10:30 pm. This will allow the shut off and water service replacement to occur when the school is unoccupied, and to allow most of the work in the area of the school to be completed before the start of the new school year. WSSC will be delivering notices of the planned shutdown to affected residents tomorrow. The work will also necessitate the temporary closure of Rosemary Circle to through traffic in order for the contractor to have room to safely work.

Thank you for your continued patience during the ongoing utility work. Please contact the Town Office if you have any questions.
