Please join your fellow residents in attending the Montgomery County Council Public Hearing on the Bethesda Downtown Plan on Tuesday, October 18 at 7 p.m. in the Council Hearing Room (100 Maryland Ave., Rockville, MD). The hearing room is on the 3rd floor, which is the floor you enter on from Maryland Avenue.
Mayor Scott Fosler and Councilmembers Barney Rush and Mary Flynn will be testifying, along with many other residents. If you would like to attend the hearing, but prefer not to drive, please send an email to the Town Office. We will provide your information to members of the Special Committee on the Bethesda Downtown Plan, who will work to arrange transportation to the hearing.
The public hearings will continue on Wednesday and Thursday evening as well; and other Town residents will be speaking at these sessions. So we would appreciate good attendance on these nights and can also arrange transportation if needed.
