Leaf Vacuuming Extended Through December 23 --
The Town will continue to collect leaves with vacuum trucks through Friday, December 23.  After vacuum collection has ended, please place leaves in reusable containers or paper yard waste bags and place them at the curb for Monday yard trash collection.

Holiday Gift Drive for Domestic Violence Victims and Their Children -- While the deadline for donations left off at the Town Office closes on Friday, December 16, at 5 PM, you can still leave last-minute donations over the weekend in Ann Wild's mail slot at 7104 Oakridge Avenue.  Either gift cards in $10-$25 denominations for such stores as Target, Marshalls, Kohl's, Ross, Giant, or Sears OR checks made out to the Montgomery County Family Justice Center are most welcome.  IMPORTANT: Be sure to include your name and your e-mail address on the envelope so you can receive a donation receipt.  Thanks in advance for your generosity.

Utility Work Update -- WSSC’s contractor is waiting for some back ordered parts to be delivered.  If the parts arrive, the contractor will be doing some house connections Monday through Wednesday next week.  If they do not arrive, the contractor will be unable to work.  WSSC will not be working December 22 through January 3.

Next week, Washington Gas will be working on Rosemary Street (between Maple Avenue and Rosemary Circle) and on East Avenue.  The contractor will also be doing service replacements in other areas of the Town.  The contractor will not work between December 22 and December 27.

Thank you for your continued patience during the ongoing utility work.  Please contact the Town Office at townoffice@townofchevychase.org or 301-654-7144 if you have any questions.
