Utility Work Update -- WSSC will continue to install new house connections on Ridgewood Avenue next week.  In March, weather dependent, they will restart work to install replacement water mains, most likely on Beechwood Drive. Washington Gas will not be working in Town next week. Thank you for your continued patience during the ongoing utility work. Please contact the Town Office if you have any questions.

Family Movie Night "Inside Out" --
Friday, March 3, 6 p.m. Described on Red Tomatoes as "inventive, gorgeously animated, & powerfully moving." Inside Out has a 98% rating.  Growing up can be a bumpy road, and it's no exception for Riley, who, like all of us, is guided by her emotions - Joy (Amy Poehler), Fear, Anger, Disgust, and Sadness.  The emotions live in Headquarters, the control center inside Riley's mind.  As Riley and her emotions adjust to a new life in San Francisco, Joy - Riley's most important emotion - tries to keep things positive, while the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school.  Come to the Town Hall by 5:40 p.m. for pizza, drinks & snacks.  The movie starts at 6 p.m. and runs for 94 minutes.
RSVP for this event by contacting the Town Office at 301-654-7144 or townoffice@townofchevychase.org.

You’re Invited! Sell/Display Your Art Work at April Art Show --
The Community Relations Committee invites all Town artists, high school age and older, to sell or display their works at the biannual Town Art Show, to be held on Friday and Saturday, April 28-29. Works in all art media are welcome.

Each artist may propose submitting up to three works, with space allotted to each artist depending on how many choose to participate.  If you would like to exhibit, please contact the Town Office at 301-654-7144 or townoffice@townofchevychase.org and be sure to give your full name, street address, e-mail address, phone number, and what media you would like to display.

Winter Outerwear Clothing Drive -- The Town's Community Relations Committee, working with the Lawton Community Center, is collecting clean, gently-used or never used warm coats, gloves, mittens, scarves, hats, sweaters, pants, and socks to donate to local charities serving those in need. Donated items are going to Interfaith Works and Bethesda Cares. Clothing boxes for your donations are in the Town Hall and the Lawton Community Center.  This drive runs until February 28, so please check your closets and drawers for possible donations.
