Utility Work Update -- WSSC and Washington Gas will not be working on Monday or Tuesday of next week. 
 
Starting on Wednesday, WSSC will continue to install new fire hydrants on Beechwood Drive and will perform some testing on the newly installed water main on that street.  WSSC will also continue to prepare Meadow Lane south of Woodside Place for the installation of the new water mains. 
 
On Wednesday, Washington Gas will continue to install new gas mains on Leland Street between 44th Street and 46th Street.  Washington Gas will also be making some new service connections on Stanford Street and Walsh Street.
