On November 4, Mayor Pat Burda and members of the Town's Land Use and Long-Range Planning committees attended a meeting to learn more about the pending update to the Bethesda Central Business District (CBD) Sector Plan, which details land use in downtown Bethesda. At the meeting, Planning Department staff made presentations and asked for community feedback on how downtown Bethesda should evolve over the next twenty years.
If you were unable to attend this meeting, two informal "open houses" will be held on the following dates:
Wednesday, November 6, 7 p.m. - 9 p.m., Access Studio at Imagination Stage, 4908 Auburn Avenue, Bethesda.
Thursday, November 14, 6 p.m. - 9 p.m., the Reading Room at the Writer's Center, 4508 Walsh Street, Bethesda.
